Power Breakfasts

On September 22, 2004, PROCURE welcomed close to 300 Montreal business leaders to a Power Breakfast at the Ritz Carlton during Prostate Cancer Awareness Week. The event was co-hosted by former Premier of Quebec, Lucien Bouchard, and Senator Leo Kolber. The goal was to sensitize the business community to the importance of understanding this disease. The event proved a tremendous success, raising more than $80,000.

By popular demand, a second successful Power Breakfast was held in Quebec City on June 2, 2005. More than 250 local business leaders gathered at the Le Parlementaire restaurant in the National Assembly to learn more about prostate cancer. Hosted by Quebec City mayor Jean-Paul L’Allier, the breakfast raised over $50,000 to support the fight against this disease.

Boys' Night Out

In December 2004 and 2003, Holt Renfrew’s flagship downtown Montreal store held an exclusive “boys only” holiday shopping event. This very special evening featured informal modeling of the latest athletic wear, health-conscious appetizers, drinks, massages, fine music, as well as the chance to win a luxurious ski trip for two. A portion of the proceeds were donated to PROCURE, helping us to advance our mission to fight prostate cancer.
