RIDE APP – Personal information protection policy


PROCURE respects the privacy rights of users and commits to protecting the personal information collected about you. This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Ride App (« Application ») for mobile devices that was created by PROCURE.

The Application provides information for the event RIDE APP, a yearly event held in Quebec (Canada) and accessible to all PROCURE’s ambassadors who wish to support PROCURE. Users may access information on the event, maps and subscribe to push notifications.


The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.

The Application doesn’t collect any personal information. Nothing at all. We do not sell personal or sensitive data.


We collect the data necessary for you to use our app. We automatically obtain some information about your computing devices, including:

  • Network status (Wi-Fi, etc.)

  • Technical device information (e.g. device model and name, operating system name and version, CPU information, storage size, screen size, firmware, software, mobile phone carrier, Internet service provider, API key identifier for application, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) on Android, Android ID, Android Serial No)

  • Push notifications token

  • Geolocation


When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to find your current location in order to determine the city you are located in and display a location map with relevant content. We will not share your current location with other users or partners. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, you should turn off the location services for the mobile application located in your account settings, in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.


The sole purpose of push notifications is to remind you about your activities in the Application. You will receive push notifications only if you subscribe to those in the Application. To unsubscribe, please follow these instructions:

  • iOS: You will be asked to accept or refuse push notifications after an Application is downloaded. If you refuse, you will not receive push notifications. Please note that if you accept, some mobile phones will allow you to disable push notifications later on by using your mobile phone settings. To manage push notifications on your mobile phone, please follow these instructions: Open the Settings menu and click on « Notifications »; find the Application; click on the Application icon; manage the « Notifications » option by sliding it OFF or ON.

  • Android and Windows: After an Application is downloaded, you will automatically receive push notifications. You can manage push notifications on your mobile phone in the « info screen » on the homepage of the Application by choosing the « Settings » option. Here, push notifications can be disabled by unchecking the « Notification » option within the Application.

We collect push notification tokens in order to be able to determine whether you subscribe to push notifications. When you decide to unsubscribe from push notifications, such push notification tokens will be deleted from our database.


It is easy to stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. Please use the standard uninstall processes that may be available in your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out by emailing us, at info@procure.ca
